Our Story
Rooted on the Willimantic River
Thread City Kicks opened its doors steps from the Willimantic River, in a town built by the thread mills that once ran twenty-four hours a day. We named every sneaker on our wall after the streets, bridges, and neighborhoods that raised us.
This isn't a chain store — it's a community shop where regulars know each other by name, kids come in after school to check the new drops, and every pair sold keeps a little bit of Thread City spinning.
